Finally got my script

is 0.2ml valerate/weekly and 50mg spiro/daily too low dose for a starting dose? should i be worried?

angel.jpg - 2048x2048, 497.88K

bitch i was never on 0.2ml

...still wanna hear other peoples opinions tho, im keeping this tabbed

what is the concentration of the estradiol?
if it's 10mg/ml, then you're doing 2mg e weekly, which is low but not unexpected for a starting dose. You'll want to push to increase that after a couple months

what is the concentration?

ive never heard of 10mg/ml
only 20 or 40

+1 to this. only heard of 20 or 40 from pharmacies

in my experience it's common for normal pharmacies to do 10mg/ml, I've only ever seen 40mg/ml from diy

are you in the US?

canada

where are you getting injections in canata? I have a friend in quebec and they don't have injections available there other than mail-order from compounding pharmacies and it's really expensive

my pharmacies all do 20
t. ontario CA

yes, I do mail order from a compounding pharmacy

how much is it? last I saw it was way overpriced compared to DIY prices from silvermaple

I use york downs chemists, about $40 a month. I get most of it paid for through my college insurance though

$40/mo is INSANE what the fuck
why are prescriptions always a scam

DIY is like $10/mo

it probably a 40mg at 0.2 for 8
or a 20mg 0.2 for 4mg

10mg/ml is available in u.s. pharma also but it is a 1ml injection. which imo is more painful. but its a pretty fat dose of ev also.

oh yeah I know, but I don't need to pay for it so it's convenient

I had to do 1 mL injections before I switched to DIY when I was taking prescription EC. it was fucking awful lol Idk why they make such a low concentration of that stuff for no good reason

Yeah that's fair. Some people are actually paying that tho which is awful. Personally I just got 20g of undecylate powder for $300 which should last me 3-4 decades

that sounds good, I'll probably buy raws to stockpile at some point

Yeah it's pretty worth. I've been on hrt for 5 yrs and the monthly injections are great. I basically forget I have to inject at all. Compounding vials was much easier than I expected although I did have some experience with labwork already

haha i know. it is so bad.
especially with fat needles.
basically feels like a 20 second baby bee sting

What gauge are you using to inject? I currently use 25G for my homemade EUn (because castor oil is thick like syrup) and I don't find it hurts much at all

yeah lol I have a science degree so I'm sure the compounding won't be hard
what dose of undecylate do you use to inject so infrequently

I'm doing 40 mg right now. I switched 3 months ago so I haven't good a blood test yet. I compound it with castor oil (which is a pain in the ass to filter) and inject subcutaneously. This ensures that it has the longest half-life possible.

interesting, the curve looks ok on the injection simulator
personally I don't think I'd ever go longer than once every 2 weeks

oh a 23g 1.5'' for injection.
it doesnt hurt too much going in but the injection stings a bit.

monthly injections for 3-4 decades?? is this really possible? it sounds like you never have to worry about no longer having access to hrt ever...

Which simulator are you checking? estrannai.se/ is considered the most reliable for undecylate. However our data is very limited for this ester and the only thing we can really trust is blood test

DIY is like $10/mo

Babytranner here and where do you get your stuff. I was hoping to do the diy route but all the sites listed on hrtgen seemed useless

I do have that one bookmarked, I was using the transfemscience one

where do you live?

Yup! I injected 40 mg of estradiol undecylate subcutaneously every 28 days. I have an app on my phone to remind me when to inject. I purchased 20g for about $300 USD off a supplier in china. I have it triple bagged in airtight bags with silica gel and it's stored in the freezer.

40 mg every 28 days is 520 mg per year. Works out to about 38 years lossless, or about 30 years assuming a yield of 80% gets into my body (which I think is a fair assessment considering the filtering and deadspaces losses)

never used this one why is it giving me such a different number from the transfemininescience sim.

ah also vannapharma.cc/ is a domestic brewer in the UK

the states

Both sites have explanations for what methods they used for data collection and creating their simulators. You can read about it there. the estrannaise one is generally considered to be more accurate to people's blood tests for undecylate specifically, according to many people I've talked to who are also taking it. I am yet to personally confirm that with my own bloods.

teahrt.com/ or astrovials.com/ would be your best bets.

teaHRT is more expensive but ships domestically and I think they are more trustworthy, as they have their vials and powders lab tested. They're currently working on fulfilling orders and not taking new ones at this exact moment. They are pretty consistent with keeping stock and if they are out of stock you can always email them to ask on an ETA. They are very reliable with customer support.

op here
I take 20 mg/ml

i pay 100 a month for mine haha

DIY NOW YOU FUCKING IDIOT HOLY SHIT

so 4mg weekly. i was started much lower. id say thats pretty good, youll have high peaks and low troughs so watch for the drop off making you feel like shit. since ive stopped listening to my doctor so i personally do 3.4mg valerate every 4 days and it feels the most "correct" so far
(7 months hrt)

eh i can afford it and im gonna switch providers soon, just got this for the script i got it in like 3 days with no waitlist

Alright whatever you say, but you can get a year's worth with DIY for a month's worth of whatever you are getting right now.

thanks for the advice!!
im def gonna talk alot over with my doctor in a few months so i can get on a good dose

no yeah i def know im getting scammed, i just wanted to get in quick and thats more what i paid for which was quick instant access

if you feel like shit at the end of the week, try with a lower dose every 4-5 days instead. Make sure your doctor knows that this is an option. Many doctors are stupid

yeah be careful with doctors...you know yourself best dont forget that.
