Like it’s gone so far beyond the mild criticisms I had of it on Twitter from 2+ years ago that I kept getting cancelled for like there should be mandatory counselling, children under 16 should not be on hormone replacement, pre op trans shouldn't be in public gender segregated changing rooms, etc.
My takes were basically just concern about lack of gatekeeping and children getting prescribed meds too early.
But now it’s reached a point of outright hatred. I fear for trans people, they're gonna be first to be genocided if America really does go Fascist

I risked my life at home to give panel talks to teachers on the treatment of trans kids, to run donation drives for local LGBT shelters, to develop queer presence in the community through murals and art demos. Why? Because even at 14 I could see that our conditions were tenuously held at best, and I took action in any way available to me.
