By "trans community" you're referring to an extremist group of gender abolitionists that want to force so many genders that it not longer matters. It's all non-binary, queer, and allies, not actual trans people. There are very few actual trans people that subscribe to this which stems from radfem academics in the 90s seeking to undermine the trans movement. These same people treat actual trans people as bigots and monsters, open to free game for slurs and other dismissive and dehumanizing tactics. The irony is that all of the social and legal measures levied against trans people are felt by this now minority group. While the political crusaders can claim their trauma but otherwise are unaffected. Even the change in emphasis to transgender was meant to shift the idea that they're not changing their sex, and are only changing their gender, whereas previously transsexual meant they were changing their sex. Blaming trans people in general for this is just harming more people that never pushed this social construct stuff.

Yes it's true. People say the trans stuff could not cost Kamala the election because she never brought it up. This is missing the point that it has been growing in the culture and everyone is hearing about it so if Kamala never disavows the specific things people are upset about they will assume she will go ahead with it even if she doesn't talk about it. The main parts people care about are a) transitioning children b) trans women entering female spaces (sports, prison, bathrooms, etc.). Even a lot of usually Democrat women don't agree with this stuff as well as other normally Dem voters like blacks and latinos.

They didn't lose any voters for not being pro-Israel enough, Jews overwhelmingly voted Dem, but they did lose votes by not even mildly condemning the Palestian deaths. I mean Trump likely won more of the Muslim vote than Kamala did, won Dearborn Michigan, and of course tons of other far left progressives either sat out or voted Green or even voted Trump over it.
