can you fucking imagine waiting 6 years for an appointment to start hrt and you walk in, are asked if you're sure you're really transgender, read a 1 page form on the "risks" (that you're already more familiar with than the doctor), and do a simple blood test, and you're out the door in 15 minutes?

The sad reality is that most of the general public nor anyone that runs the nhs (I am talking about you Wes Streeting and also the previous tory government) don’t actually realise the amount of harm caused by making someone wait 6 years just for an appointment.
I think it’s part of a larger plan to forcibly ensure that trans people will never be able to pass and it will always be obvious to anyone. We will be outed to everyone and it will be easier for anyone to discriminate or attempt to take away our rights. The puberty blockers ban is evident of this. They want it to be easier to tell who’s trans and who isn’t because they want to treat us differently.
