I think it’s not in bad faith. Most online accessible communities are pro-enby. Among the social peacocking classes Tumblr enbies became twitter troons, and then people began thinking enby was lame so now you got a bunch of he/him TikTok kids as the next generation of enby. Not sure of the next stage, hopefully “detroons” become an identity all their own.

It depends on your initial setup. There are plenty of ways to tweak transition results into androgyny, from easy stuff like exercise and presentation to compounded hormone creams or blockers.. I'm not sure if you're trying to argue here but I hope you're aware a lot of NB people aren't wildly different than you.

Preferences aren't coupled with what gender I consider people to be. Let's say I don't like fat chicks or blacks, doesn't mean I don't think they're women. Just like I might prefer vaginas but that doesn't mean I don't think trans women are not women. Those two concepts have nothing to do with each other.

Personally I think it shouldn't be recorded at all. Sex is only relevant in medical documents and gender shouldn't be relevant at all.

sex is to genotype as gender is to phenotype. a penis is a phenotypical expression.

clothes make no differences. that's why we're seeing backlash surrounding trans women in women's spaces. gender is not an outfit you put on. it's a means of signalling what's in your pants and what your preferences are.
