(I'm not OP.) The majority of society will keep making or being interested in making babies thanks to the bell curve of statistics. This is good and should (and will) continue to happen.

One of the things that has driven me bananas about the trans community is that we successfully checked the "We're just like you. Let's both live our lives quietly" box and earned that shit. Then other folks came in with "Actually, we're not like anybody at all," and society said, "Okay, you're not like me at all," so it became increasingly hard for people to empathize with each other. The tension that this has caused has not been worth it imo.

It's fatalistic and honestly such a drag to be around. People get inspired by David-Goggins shit, even if they never actually do what he did. People do not get inspired by "nothing is worth it" no matter what the truth of the universe is. The universe did not craft us from stardust just for us to just lie down and rot.
