They're not taking HRT because why would they? Their bodies are naturally E-dominant and at that age their E-levels are probably allready high enough that HRT would have no effect.

However, their age also indicates that their mothers are old enough to be going through menopause, which is where the HRT packets their holding comes from.

This doesn't work for anyone that was actually alive then, so anyone you're attempting to address basically. Back in the 00s and early 10s almost all trans stuff was fringe and concerned with passing and going stealth. In the 90s and earlier, there were old trans like Lynn Conway I think, with a website cautioning people not to transition with some horror stories. On the other hand there were some websites where legitimate 50 year olds would start transition, call it their second puberty, get divorced, and hug box each other. Besides that there were also fetishistic cross dressers and self-described sissys that have websites where they intentionally posted wardrobe malfunctions.
People that transitioned in the 00s and early 10s were all about not becoming like that. It was all going find.
