The point of the problem is:
Men and women have different frames/bodies at birth.
Its not even about winning or losing, its about being able to compete in a league in the way you expected it to be. But clearly the cis girl didnt realize it was a possibility.
Its just really lame and I hope cis women, in the future, will be able to have their own leagues exactly the way they want it to be, without any interference.

Women's leagues were not formed because "women were not competitive in men's leagues." Women's leagues were formed because men refused to play any sports events where women were involved. It was about fighting against literal, actual discrimination on the basis of gender.

I mean having done contact sports myself I could see hormone levels being done similarly to weight classes, but I dont necessarily think that is going to be a perfect solution nor think that it is ever going to satisfy the otherwise completely uninvested politicians and political activists. What a lot of them arent saying out loud is that they dont just want trans women out of sports, they want cis women out of the less “feminine” sports too, back in the kitchens. They dont give a fuck about fair sports, or the women in them. They give a fuck about furthering their political careers.

Its just about competition, and women werent competitive, so they have their own leagues so that they at least get a chance to compete.
I think all sports events should be mixed gendered.
For individual events, leagues should create objective rankings of all the participants relative to one another. However, they should ensure representation of various equity-seeking groups at all events, to promote inclusion and participation in sports. The global rankings can be filtered however you want. If you think "only ciswomen are real women!" then you can filter them to only ciswomen and find the best one. If you think "transwomen are real women!" then you can filter them to trannies and ciswomen.
For team events, then just run mixed teams with an obligation to include representation from a few equity-seeking groups.

Is just not possible in part because cis women arent just 1 person with 1 opinion, but also because they, like everyone else, arent immune to political and economical influences and biases when defining their ideas of fairness.
Studies concerning transwomen, intersex conditions, and high T cis women in sports arent even properly finished yet (and no, the idea that more muscle=always better doesnt appear to be holding up so far), meanwhile we have confirmation that media attention on the subject is artificially inflated by Russian bots to generate division.
