Why would I want friends who are bad at socializing? I want good friends, people who I can talk to. I am big conversationalist and I don't like talking to socially inept people who can't match me. With autistic friends its really tough to find anything to do, most have difficulty going out in other most activies and circumstances due to anxiety. This has really hurt me in making friends since I have a base of autistics who sorta prevent me from branching out since they don't try new things or meet new people, or can help me breakthrough socially with new people.

I can see how it is an issue but you can motivate your friends to go out with you and do stuff. Like instead of leaving them you can convince them to be more socially active

Well I do but these people expect me to be the above and beyond social initiator and help THEM try to talk to people, when they really have nothing to say nor skills to do it. When of course I have my own insecurities, im talkative but not insanely outgoing, and I expect friends to provide social cushion, and not weigh me down with anxiety and social misunderstanding when doing things and socializing,

And the thing is its not just social anxiety or nervousness. I have social anxiety or nervousness, but autistic people have difficulty socializing when (if not especially) they are excited and open too. And while I can love my autistic friends and know they are nice and good people, it is certainly offputting and that rubs off on me sadly.
