fallout 3 has a lot of story telling through the world. things you arnt told about and have to investigate, aside from the story. to me the fun part was doing my own little things. like I decided I wanted to make all those enclave checkpoints friendly. doesn't work for the randomly spawning patrols because those are always new, but the ones that are always the same, well always the same as long as they are alive. you can enslave them and set them free thus changing their faction to neutral so they are nice to you. took me a while to get it like that and you have to do one at a time every few days.

I recommend it purely because its an fps rpg with not dogshit combat. The actually decent story, fun lore and interesting characters are a nice touch too. It deserves some shit, but it's really good for what it is.

I find it amazing how all animals and bugs seem to understand eyes. all the annoying flying bugs always try to go around to the back of your head, they are aware you cant see there.
I test different things like turning around, or crouching low to the ground and looking up or laying down, that seems to make them fly away when I lay down looking up at them, like they don't have a plan for that or something.
