I think the only thing problematic about this statement is he's chalking it to to "sex drive" when a big influence on this can be environmental factors. Women being raised to be prudish, protective/restrictive of sex, raised to think promiscuity is immoral, or overly value purity/virginity. These are deeply Christian concepts, and Fry is a product of a Christian society. Why women seek out sex less is a Psychosexual question as much as biological one. Obviously there are high sex drive women and low sex drive men, there is nothing wrong that. But you can't deny, on average, women aren't persuing sex in the same way as men.
