I want to go swimming this summer.
I used to wear just swimming shorts, but my bf is concerned I will get in trouble if I don’t cover my chest.
My drivers license says male, so if the cops give me trouble I can say I just have bad gyno, but he is not happy with that as an answer.
Has anyone else gone bare chested swimming after hrt, and did you have problems?

Im fitted for a 30D and just put on a sports bra then a compression top/surf shirt. There's no real hiding them or going topless.
Per the way the law is written here, it's based on if someone finds you offensive, not on the technical wording of gendered breasts. I could very much get slapped with indecent exposure if I went to the beach topless.

get swim trunks
get long sleeve rash guard
but booba and nipple still visible with rash guard on
a compression bra or similar will show a strap on my back, no good
but a solid back one piece womens swimsuit beneath the rash guard both flattens the chest area, while showing no signs you're wearing it

Laws vary from state to state and country to country but, in many, intent is the deciding factor.
If you expose yourself and you had a strong belief that what you was doing WOULDN'T cause distress (such as being on sheltered private property, a nudist beach, doing the same as everyone else), you should be fine.
