Does HRT lead to cognitive decline?

Has anyone else noticed a cognitive decline while taking estrogen? I take estrogen primarily to avoid twinkdeath, I'm not MTF trans myself. I've been considering going off of it because I feel it is leading to cognitive decline, but I am also a NEET so I'm not sure if it could be related to my lack of activity rather than the hormones. I don't get out much, I don't eat very well/at a slight deficit (I take vitamins), or exercise.

I am thinking about going off of estrogen for this reason, but I also want to avoid twinkdeath so it'd be great if it WASN'T the estrogen.

I see all these transgendered women employed in tech, STEM, etc. and it makes me think that it must be something else. But then, maybe they were just smarter to begin with or use some other meds to counteract any cognitive decline caused by the estrogen.

There should be some neurological changes, but shouldn't necessarily present as cognitive decline. Maybe something else going on, care to describe more in depth?

I kind of think it's one and the same, and that repression and running on the wrong sex hormones is like a cognitive disability

I wish I could find out the answer as to whether this is effecting my cognition, I really want to stay on it but ultimately I would choose my brain over my body if I had to choose.

I'm sort of stuck in the NEET lifestyle for the foreseeable future so I'm not sure how to fix that, and as long as I'm stuck like this I won't know if it's the HRT or the NEETdom :(

If anything I'm happier on HRT except the constant anxiety of being on HRT is fucking my mental state up. Idk if HRT makes anxiety worse or not. When I'm happier I'm much happier but I'm rarely happy.

What’s your AA? Is it spiro? Spiro can cause brain fog and genuinely made me a stammering retard after I got a dose increase, it went away eventually though and I’m smart again, either way your AA should be the first thing you check

It doesn't "prevent aging", it makes you age like a woman. Peak aging would be with proper levels of testosterone while blocking DHT which is useless after puberty. Estrogen thinks skin and if anything kills the twink look as you gain body fat in the wrong places

And if you don't know much about brain structure, the hippocampus is basically about memory, knowledge, etc. It's linked with everything else, basically, so you may end up with not speaking properly because your body doesn't remember how to speak properly.

My guess is that autism causes a surplus of connections between neurons, which, in the case of hrt will not not result in much cognitive decline.

IVe hung out with diagnosed autists since I was 15 and they are always around 2 deviations above the mean.
