i'm stealth, my experience is that like the other anon the topic rarely comes up among cis people so it's not like trannies live rent free in cis women's heads, but in general most of the cis women i know resent males and trans women aren't typically exempted. the topic has come up at work a couple of times and the cis women have had kind of mean things to say about trans women, and not just hons (one time they were talking about trans women entering our country's national beauty pageant and how they were grossed out when they found out one of them was "a man"). they usually only say this stuff when other women of similar age are around. men are actually more likely to be supportive of trans people in private but won't typically voice that opinion publicly. in general don't underestimate how sacred the gender binary is to normies, most cis people unironically see the world split in black and white terms when it comes to gender. i had one of the older millennial women i work with point out that it's "interesting" i seem to get on well with men for example, she couldn't comprehend that i had stronger platonic relationships with some of the men in our office than with the women.
