I still find it worthwhile to be here obviously, but please be aware that
1. people here have a critical eye for photos that has gone past "realistic" and into "hallucinating." You could be a fairly attractive cis girl and they would pick you apart.
2. there is a culture of general shittiness to self and others which again, is not realism, just mental health issues.
3. a lot of that shittiness is various parts of the trans community desperately stomping each other down like crabs in a bucket because their lives are hard and they want to feel better about themselves and they want to feel normal. So if you are gay or gender nonconforming or nonbinary it might suck to talk about it here.
I say this as someone who feels outside of most of that, because when I was transitioning, this place did not exist, and that was a good thing for me. It would be different if I was young or new in the process and didn't know anyone trans IRL and ended up with this as my primary community. Look out for yourself.
