No, but I don't play a lot of new games. I'm surprised 2 games have come out this year that I was interested in

The Final Fantasy series. I like all of them except 2 or 3, can't remember which one it was that had a terrible class system. Also dislike 6, even though the story and the music are great, there's just something that makes me dislike it.

Gameplay. I can't enjoy any new games because the combat and camera movement are ass in every single game that is made nowadays.

I tend to avoid dissappointments by just playing the same shit for years. I did get gifted Bloons TD6 and the legends addon for it though; the main game is alright but the addon sucked.

I grew up completely obsessed with pokemon but its become mostly slop unfortunately, so now I'd say favorite series is probably fire emblem. I've played about half of the main series.

The game has to be fun to play primarily, but having a decent story is also important when applicable. Idc about graphics because a lot of games do hyperrealism which looks boring to me, or generic anime art styles.

I don't buy games very often and I tend to replay the same ones over and over so I don't think I've experienced this yet.

Qott1: Pikmin is pretty great. If I had to choose a favorite though it would be the Gauntlet games.
Qott2: I like games with odd mechanics, niche genres, etc... but the art has to at least be tolerable. It doesn't have to be good, I just don't like overly cartoony shit or stuff that looks straight out of flash games.
Qott3: I usually do pretty in-depth looks before I buy a game, I honestly can't think of a recent purchase I've regretted
