I'm an office administrator which is a field that is basically 80% women. In fact the person whose job I took over was also a girl and the guys around the office can be flirtatious with me sometimes.

It reminds me of that time I was arguing with an anon on here about tranny politics and I asked what they did for a living and it was such a male coded job. So basically everything they said could be dismissed based off of that fact alone. I myself never had a male coded job despite the fact I present as male.

I work in IT, on the customer facing side as a second level support person. My team is me, another woman (she's cis) and one man.
The service desk level is all men except for one, and more often than you'd think, when we get a ticket escalated from them, it's because the SD guys were unwilling or unable to understand what some older woman in an office somewhere wants or needs to do her job. Emotional intelligence is surprisingly necessary even in this field.
